The trademarked acronym, PZR®, was originally the acronym for the company, Planning and Zoning Resource Company. LightBox purchased the company and its trademark on June 1, 2022. The term “PZR®” became a popular way to request a Zoning Report or a PZR® Report, also referred to as a Property Zoning Report, or a Zoning Compliance Report, even though the acronym originally represented the Planning and Zoning Resource Company brand name.
A Zoning Report is a detailed document that summarizes and analyzes the zoning classification and land use regulations applicable to a specific parcel of property. It is a critical due diligence tool used in commercial real estate transactions, development planning, and financing processes.
