About

Steve McKnight, P.G., M.S., is an environmental consulting professional with over 30 years of national and international experience. As Regional Director for the Northwest Environmental Solutions team at Partner Engineering and Science, Inc., he oversees operations in Northern California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. McKnight also serves as the National Senior Technical Director for Green and Sustainable Remediation (GSR) and Sea Level/Climate Change impacts related to contaminated sites. His expertise spans complex environmental projects, regulatory compliance, and sustainable remediation techniques. Throughout his career, McKnight has led major environmental investigation and remediation projects for various state and federal agencies, as well as private clients. His professional history includes significant tenures with industry leaders such as URS Corporation (now AECOM) and ERRG, where he developed a keen interest in GSR practices.

  • Presented on “Climate Change Analysis of Remedies for Terrestrial Operable Units at Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton, Bremerton, Washington” at the Battelle Conference in 2022
