With more than 13 years of experience in the telecommunications and environmental consulting industries, Cunneen is charged with business development and project management for the telecom industry. Cunneen will be based in the firm’s Corona office.

As a business graduate at California State University, Fullerton, Cunneen is adept at cultivating new business opportunities and is respected for his strong client relationships. He has provided compliance consulting throughout the United States for industry leaders such as AT&T, Mobility, MetroPCS, Sprint-Nextel, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile USA, Cricket Communications, and American Tower Corporation.

“Michael brings substantial experience and relationships to Partner’s telecom group, as well as a reputation built on exemplary technical knowledge and customer service,” said Partner president Joseph Derhake, PE. “We are excited to have him on board.”

Cunneen has advised clients on compliance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements. As a NEPA Specialist and Project Manager, he is responsible for the oversight of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and NEPA Report services for wireless telecommunication projects. This includes the assignment of biological, archaeological, and historical evaluations to in-house personnel; review of biological databases and biological field assessment reports; review of cultural and archaeological records search reports; review of Architectural Historian Evaluation reports; SHPO and Native American consultation; and preparation, review, and submittal of NEPA reports.

Also an Environmental Professional, Cunneen has performed hundreds of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Cunneen has evaluated site conditions, potential off-site liabilities, environmental control systems, and site remediation costs in order to advise prospective buyers, operators, and owners of potential and existing environmental concerns. His site assessment experience includes agricultural properties, golf courses, automobile fueling and repair facilities, telecommunications sites, shopping centers with dry cleaning facilities, rural and undeveloped land, and various other commercial, residential, and industrial properties throughout the United States.

“I am excited to be a part of the Partner team and look forward to expanding our business with carriers and developers,” said Cunneen. “With our large and growing team of environmental and compliance specialists nationwide, I’m confident that Partner is the right answer for the rapidly expanding telecom industry.”
