Santa Ana, CA – Professional Geologist Suzi Rosen has joined Partner Engineering and Science Inc. (Partner), a national engineering, environmental, energy, and design firm headquartered in Torrance, Calif., as Technical Director of Site Mitigation.
Ms. Rosen will apply her national experience and expertise providing environmental due diligence, remediation, site closures, and litigation support to help clients around the country better mitigate environmental risks. Contributing over 20 years of experience within the engineering, environmental, and energy consulting industry, Ms. Rosen will be an exceptionally valuable addition to the Partner team.

Ms. Rosen previously served as Southwest District Technical Manager for Regenesis, where she designed and implemented hundreds of in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) and enhanced bioremediation remediation programs for a wide array of contaminant plumes. Her experience at Regenesis also included management of risk based closure programs for multi-property portfolios, and assistance with regulatory approval of injection plans, post-injection monitoring and data analysis, and regulatory site closures.
In her new role, Ms. Rosen will leverage her technical background to provide turn-key services from initial due diligence and identification of contamination, through remediation of the site. She will work closely with Robert Traylor, Technical Director of Site Mitigation, to oversee the overall quality of remediation projects on the West Coast. Together they will work to expand Partner’s solutions and remediation practice in the Western region of the United States.
Throughout her career, Ms. Rosen has worked on many projects including sites related to brownfield/infill property redevelopment, oil (terminals and pipelines), ports, manufacturing, public municipalities, and airline industries.
Ms. Rosen’s expertise further includes closure negotiations with regulatory agencies throughout California. Recently, she served as Environmental Services Manager and Senior Geologist for Gannett Fleming, Inc. where she managed technical professionals and executed a wide array of projects including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, remedial design and implementation (including chemical oxidation and bioremediation), health risk evaluations, environmental litigation support/expert opinion, and environmental compliance. She also has significant experience managing contracts and preparing proposals for the public sector.

Ms. Rosen attended California State University, Los Angeles and Fullerton where she completed graduate coursework in geology and hydrology and contaminant fate and transport. Before that she received her BS in geological sciences with honors from California State University, Fullerton.
