As a result of the destruction of Super Storm Sandy, several schools were flooded. Although the client responded as quickly as possible, mold growth appeared in some areas.
Partner professionals within the Health, Safety, and Environmental Hygiene discipline provided numerous inspections for mold growth and moisture intrusion. As part of the project, post-remediation samples were collected. Both air and surface sampling methods were utilized. Furthermore, Partner professionals communicated with the contractors and the client to ensure the remediation was being completed in accordance to industry standards.
