Michigan has a Renewable Portfolio Standard that requires investor-owned utilities to obtain 15% of their energy from renewable sources by 2021.
In support of this standard, Partner provided development and engineering support services to multiple clients entering the emerging utility distributed generation solar market in Michigan. The scope of work included preliminary site evaluations, photovoltaic array layouts, equipment selections, single-line electrical diagrams, kWh production simulations and project development support including interconnection applications and general consulting.
