About

As the Director of Strategic Development – Industrial Hygiene, Mike Ebel brings over 25 years of experience applying solutions throughout the Industrial Hygiene, Indoor Air Quality and Hazardous Building Material arena. Mr. Ebel is proficient at supporting global clients in all facets of Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Compliance and Health and Safety. He is a frequent speaker on various topics associated with indoor air quality, mold, disaster relief and was a guest lecturer at Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. Mr. Ebel’s education commenced with an associate degree in Architecture from Kirkwood College then progressed into hazardous building material related training and certifications to include the customary asbestos training certificates of inspector, contractor/supervisor, management planner, designer, and the Lead Based Paint inspector. Mr. Ebel continued into Industrial Hygiene related education with Industrial Hygiene Certificates from Harvard School of Public Health and UNC School of Public Health.

Mr. Ebel is often requested to provide expert and factual witness/testimony with recent trials and depositions in Iowa, Tennessee, Illinois, and Puerto Rico.

In 2006, following Hurricane Katrina’s impacts in New Orleans, Mr. Ebel received client approval to publish an article titled “Saks Fifth Avenue Store Helps Revitalize New Orleans” in the April 2006 Professional Retail Store Maintenance and the June 2006 Cleaning & Restoration magazines.

Outside the office, Mr. Ebel is married with two aspiring daughters. He is a passionate golfer, a golf coach, an Executive Committee member with the Wyndham Championship/PGA Tour, President of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School Advisory Board and past Chairman of The Board and current Board Member at High Point Country Club.
