Torrance, CA and Atlanta, GA—Joseph “Joey” Bonin, Jr. has joined Partner Engineering and Science, Inc.’s Atlanta office as a National Client Manager, with a special purview on construction risk management.
With over 30 years of sales and marketing experience, 14‐year industry veteran Bonin brings to Partner a wealth of experience in fulfilling the construction risk management/bond alternative needs of lending institutions, owners, developers, hoteliers, and contractors throughout North America. Most recently, Bonin was vice president in the Atlanta offices of the Broadlands Financial Group, where he handled construction risk management for national clients, primarily lenders.
Bonin, who has been involved in more than $ 1 billion worth of construction projects, has particular expertise in the hospitality industry. Duties have included pre‐construction plan and cost reviews, contractor evaluations, funds disbursements, and other services.
As a respected industry expert, Bonin has addressed regional and national conferences of the AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association), GLQC (Georgia Lender’s Quality Circle), and RMA (Risk Management Association), speaking on the topic of proactive risk management. Bonin is also a member of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL).
Bonin holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Marketing from Louisiana State University.
