Nik Van Vliet,
Relationship Manager
Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Nik Van Vliet as its newest commercial lending specialist, bringing over 17 years of expertise in commercial lending and specialized SBA financing to the organization.
Mr. Van Vliet joins Partner as a Relationship Manager at Partner, based in the Phoenix, Arizona office, following a distinguished career that includes five years with the Small Business Administration, where he worked extensively with various financial institutions on the SBA 7A program. Recently relocated from Sacramento to Phoenix in 2023, he brings two decades of market experience and a proven track record of facilitating complex transactions.
“Partner’s wide array of services and solutions-oriented approach perfectly aligns with my vision for serving clients,” said Mr. Van Vliet. “This platform will allow me to provide more comprehensive solutions across multifamily and owner-occupied investments.”
Throughout his career, Mr. Van Vliet has demonstrated expertise across diverse industries, including industrial work, logistics, and retail. His experience includes managing complex buyouts and refinancing projects, notably the successful refinancing of a historic hotel in California during the challenging COVID period.
In his new role, Mr. Van Vliet will assume responsibility for an existing client portfolio while focusing on expanding Partner’s market presence. His extensive background in zoning, ALTA, and due diligence assessments, combined with his strong California connections, positions him well to serve clients across multiple markets. Van Vliet will also work closely with Partner’s Strategic Director, Kathryn Peacock, to focus on servicing clients in the Phoenix metro area.
“My goal is to leverage Partner’s comprehensive service offerings to provide enhanced solutions for clients while expanding our market share,” added Mr. Van Vliet. “I’m particularly excited about the opportunity to help small business owners achieve their entrepreneurial dreams while creating jobs and fostering economic growth.”
