Partner performed Engineering and Environmental Due Diligence for over 20 office properties throughout the Netherlands as part of an acquisition for a leading, global investment management firm.
As part of that due diligence, Partner performed Property Condition Building Surveys of the parcels. Although physically located in the Netherlands, all building surveys were performed in general accordance with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Practice Standards. The purpose of the Property Condition Building Survey is to observe and document the current condition of readily-visible materials and building systems, identify any and all immediate repair items or other conditions which impact property value or usability, and to analyse for conditions which may have a significant impact on the continued operation of the facility during the evaluation period.
Additionally, Partner performed Phase 1 Environmental Assessments in general accordance with the scope of work as set forth by the Client and Partner for the subject properties. The Phase 1 Environmental Assessments identifies for the client any potential environmental risks that may exist due to current or historical operations at the site and/or surrounding properties.
