Partner provided due diligence services in support of the acquisition of an office complex, consisting of two conjoined buildings totaling approximately 17,000 m2 LFA / 19,457 m2 GFA in the mixed-use Amsterdam Sloterdijk area. The site was constructed in 1971, renovated in 1997, and scheduled for extensive refurbishment/modernisation in 2019.
Our client was a global investment management group operating from London. With combined occupancy at 42%, this site presented a value-add opportunity that suited their acquisition criteria, pending environmental and technical assessment. Partner provided these assessments, including a Property Condition Building Survey and a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment. Further to the Phase I, Partner was selected to oversee a subsurface investigation associated with an unused fuel oil underground storage tank and subsequent removal of the tank to KIVA certification.
