Partner was retained by Keysight Technologies to conduct an Equity level FCA for asset management purposes. It was the first FCA exercise undertaken by Keysight Technologies, which required Partner to function as teachers/mentors, as well as specialized consultants. In conducting our FCAs, a large amount of mechanical equipment was found to be near the end of its useful life, as such we assisted the client in developing a replacement schedule. Our findings led to an educational opportunity for the client, who engaged us in several webinars to better understand the cost table and FCA report, ultimately saving the clients hundreds of hours and countless dollars to assemble the information Partner was able to provide in several weeks. Ultimately this FCA proved a great starting point for capital planning, and a benchmark for establishing the actual condition of the various site components (building shell and core, MEP-FP systems, Handicap Accessibility.
